Trendy Kid!

I spend time looking at my closet and feeling disgusted about my wardrobe!  Now this may sound like a terrible thing as a mom, but I have one trendy kid! She loves fashion, shoes, and lipstick just as much as I do! An added bonus, she is also a  naturalista like me!

Pretty in Pink

I am really quite fond of the color pink, so this post us dedicated to a few of my favorite shades of pink for this Spring/Summer Season. Just an FYI, this is not even half of the shades of pink I own! Lol!

Pink is just a funky and fun vibrant color. Some shades may not always work with my skin tone but that is what lip liners are for. A lip liner in a great shade can really tone down or play up a shade of pink that may not work for you. This is definitely a part one of a multiple part series posting for pink lipsticks and glosses.  This was just an appetizer!  Just wait for the main course! I hope you love it as much as I know I will!

Fashionista in Training!!

I love having daughters! I wouldn't know what to do if I had a son! I have two beautiful daughter but only one has seemed to capture my genuine love for unique fashions and my hoarding power of collecting shoes!! We both love pretty, girly shoes! We both love bright and vibrant colors! We love easily coordinating clothes and styling our own selves! As a matter of fact, my little fashionista in training picked out my outfit for Easter Sunday! A lilac dress, with soft pink caged high heeled open toed booties!  It was cute.

Today is not about me! No I am sharing the look of my beautiful fashionista in training.  She was rocking her YSL t - shirt with a cute black and white striped skirt.  She paired her look with some cute brown boots. With her hair pulled back into an elegant bun, she pulled the entire look together with a gorgeous handcrafted hair bow she modeled for Bows and More by Jamie (who can be found on Facebook). I must say, this outfit was absolutely stunning! The child model, well, she wasn't too bad either!!

FabKids Rocks!!!

FabKids rocks! Yes! It rocks!! I have two beautiful daughters who are six years apart in age, so that means I have a huge gap in personality and style! My preteen can dress herself and pick out her own clothes, with only a little fashion advice from me or my sister; however,  I still get to pick out the styles for my almost five year old diva going on 20! Lol! So what is FabKids? I thought you'd never ask!!

FabKids is a kids clothing of the month club. When you sign up at www.fabkids.com, you will be asked to take a short and simple style quiz for your little boy or girl. The clothes range in size from size two to 12! I love how easy the site is and how the stylists create several personalized outfit ideas. When you select an outfit, it is either a top and bottom or a dress with hair accessories or a romper with hair accessories! The styles are fashion forward! The clothes are durable! I just love how easy it is to pair items together and mix and match too!

You can also purchase items as separate pieces, but the prices are a little higher. If you purchase an outfit, the price is $29.95 plus tax and shipping.  Free shipping is offered when you spend $49 or more. FabKids also offers shoes, from sneakers to sandals to boots! It's almost like a one stop shop and is great for busy parents who may not always have the time to shop at regular brick and mortar shops! I love that the price is easy on my wallet and that my daughter loves getting the pink boxes and bags in the mail. 

Another great perk for joining FabKids is the reward points you earn with each and every purchase. 1000 points earns you a free credit! Just this month, I earned my first free credit and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the roller skate shirt and gold shiny skirt!

I was recently selected as a brand ambassador for FabKids.  At this time, I want to share a little of the back story for FabKids. FabKids was started by a team of parents which included actress Christina Applegate. The purpose of FabKids was to empower children to be individuals by encouraging them to embrace their individuality through fashion. This also changed the way mom's and dad's are able to shop by offering these high quality and reasonably priced clothing online! FabKids has definitely made shopping easier for me and fun for my daughter!!
